Education dates to remember, Fall 2009
September 2nd - The first First Wednesday. On First Wednesdays (early dismissal day from school) St. John's invites elementary-age children and their friends to meet at the church at 12:30 p.m. for an afternoon of games, special projects and tasty treats!
September 9th, 16th, & 20th - 4th Graders Prayer Class, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
September 12th, September 13th - Sunday School teacher installation at Saturday & Sunday church service
September 13th - Rally Sunday and Rally Day Brunch, the beginning of a new Sunday School year
September 20th & recurring 3rd Sunday of every month - Youth Serve Fellowship, 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
September 20th - High School class meets with Rose Osland to plan Sunday School year 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
September 26th, September 27th - 4th Grade Prayer Class recognition, Saturday & Sunday church service
September 27th - Kids Against Hunger - All Day
October 1st - (Start, continuing 9 weeks)- Pastor Kathy will lead a Small Group Discussion at 6:30 a.m. at Saints Rest. The discussion will use the book, “Climbing the Sycamore Tree: A Study on Choice and Simplicity” by Ann Hagmann.
