St. Paul's choir, Christmas Eve, 2007

Located across the street from the campus of Grinnell College, Saint Paul's is an active parish of approximately 30 families and individuals. Our service ministries include professional counseling for those in the community who would not otherwise have access to counseling, "Happy Birthdays Unlimited" (baking for Grinnell College students), hosting AA and other support groups, hosting community meals, supporting a Project Home Mission family, raising funds for Episcopal Relief and Development and Church World Service, and caring for our community and each other. We worship in a beautifully renovated country church, built in 1868 and moved to its Grinnell location in 1996. We're currently considering plans for space renovation that will make our facilities even more accommodating for our community and the diverse ministries we undertake.

Mission statement: "The people of St. Paul’s aspire to grow in knowledge and love of Christ through prayer, worship, education, ministry, and service to the world and local community, the adjacent college campus, and each other. We are an open and affirming congregation, welcoming all people to join the life and ministry of our congregation. "
