Notre Dame Family Circles of Faith Meeting Minutes

January 18, 2010

            The meeting was held on January 18, 2010 in the church hall.

            Vicki McGee called the meeting to order.  Vicki led the group in prayer.

            Officers present were Vicki McGee, Connie Kepros, Stephanie Turnbull and Terry Duerre.

            The minutes of the last meeting were read.  Janet Andera made a motion to approve the same, seconded by Suzanne Ollendick.  Minutes were approved.

            Treasurer’s report was read.  Lud Perkins made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report.  Doris Hubka seconded it.  Report was approved.

            Thank you notes were read from families, organists and persons receiving goodies at Christmas.

            March 5 is World Day of Prayer and will be held at Notre Dame Parish at 1:30 p.m.  Everyone is invited to attend.

            Chicken noodle soup luncheon will be held January 29 at Legion Hall in Cresco from

10;00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

            Next weekday funeral committee is #1; Saturday committee #2.

            The committee is looking for someone to chair the layette project. 

            Sewing circle has donated a quilt to the lasagna supper and pie auction.  They also reported on the items donated to the veterans.

            The next Circles of Faith meeting will be held on March 15.
