Special Pets Who Need Special People
All the animals at
Jasper County Animal Rescue League and Humane Society are in need of a home,
but some require
a little extra loving care. These animals are referred to as “ Special Needs”.
Commonly it
will be an older pet. Possibly a cat who prefers a quiet home without other
animals
and
children. Perhaps a dog, that due to its age has had some teeth removed, and
needs to eat
soft food.
Many think there is disadvantages to adopting an older pet, but they forget
there is
many great
advantages to loving and caring for the
senior animal ! These cats and dogs have
lived the
majority of their lives in a home
environment with a family. Dogs are most generally
housebroke,
and the cats enjoy a lap to lay upon.
MOST IMPORTANTLY DON’T FORGET, AGE IS NOT A DISEASE !
