The Jasper County Animal Rescue League and Humane Society is a non profit

organization which provides numerous services to our community.

One of these services is providing animal control. Strays picked up or brought

to the shelter, have state mandated time restraints. By law dogs are held for

7 days, and cats for 3. After these initial days if the animals are not reclaimed

by their owners they become the property of Jasper County Animal Rescue

League and Humane Society.

These first days animals are held is what we refer to as the animal control side

of the Animal Rescue League. Any days beyond the state mandated 7 and 3 ,

is the humane portion , allowing us to be a humane society.

Your donation dollars are used for our humane services, to house the

animals beyond these time restraints. It also allows us to feed, vaccinate,

veterinary care when necessary, and gives these homeless animals the

opportunity to find a new home, through our adoption program.

We would like to thank you for giving these homeless animals a second

chance at a great new life, where they are not only wanted, but also loved

and cared for.
