Flu season extra precautions: cover your mouth with handkerchiefs, Kleenex or cough into your sleeve and wash your hands often. E.M.E.’s and I wash our hands before mass and use a hand sanitizer after the Sign of Peace. Stay home if you are sick, God will excuse you. If you are there, and I, Fr. Clem have to be there, and you are sick don’t receive from the cup, hold hands, give the Sign of Peace or use the holy water font; don’t risk sharing your illness. Tell those around you that you are ill and would rather not they will respect your wishes. Be responsible, take precautions for yourself and be sensitive to others and we will get through another flu season.
