H1N1 Flu Prevention Tips: Cough and sneeze into your elbow. Wash hands with soap and warm water for a minimum of 15-20 seconds.  Sing the abc’s or the happy birthday song.  Use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.  Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth without washing or using hand sanitizer first.

The 3-year olds thru 2nd grade Sunday School students will be singing at the 10:30am service on Sunday, Nov. 15th.   They will sing a song about Jonah, which was the theme for this rotation ,along with some other favorites.

 

Children’s Christmas Program will be Dec. 12-13 at 5:30pm and 10:30am.  Special music for the prelude is welcome.  If you would want to sing, play the piano, or any other instrument, contact Laura Clute at 927-3405.  Thank you!

 

Evangelism Committee’s “Touch of Christmas Love,” will reach out to needy families in Delaware County again this holiday season.  They will be placing the tree with tags in the entryway of the church on Sat., Nov. 28th.

Shaking Hands:  Worship Planning has decided to suspend the shaking of hands during worship services in order to protect the health of parishioners.

Heaven Bound along with Pam Burke will be hosting a Premier jewelry Open House in the Fellowship Hall from 2-4pm. on November 15th.   They will be serving refreshments and also selling candles.

 

Silent Auction:  Heaven Bound will again be having their Silent Auction.  If you wish to donate any items, you can start bringing them on Nov. 15th.  The auction will be ongoing until December 13th.

 

Men’s Fraternity: Winning at Work and Home has been rescheduled to start on December 4th and will run for 16 weeks, excluding Christmas and New Year’s Day.  Mark Guetzko
