Preserving Fayette's History: The Fayette Community Library is happy to announce that, thanks to a grant from the Fayette County Community Foundation and matching support from the Friends of the Library, our patrons now have access to 54 reels of film of Fayette Newspapers, spanning years from 1882 to 2004. The papers have been digitized and are available on the web, or on CDs which can be searched in the library. On the web they can be found at http://fayette.newspaperarchive.com/Default.aspx Because the materials are copyrighted, you will first need to contact the library for the login and password that will permit you to access the site. These files should be invaluable for people doing genealogical or historical research.
