We are a small
hardware store located in northwest Iowa town of Lake View.
The town is located on the shores of Black hawk Lake.
Blackhawk Lake is the southern most glacial lake in Iowa.
We have two campgrounds Blackhawk State Park on the south side of the
lake and Camp Crescent on the town bay.

STONE PIER
Lake View, Iowa
This is one of two unique and attractive stone piers which grace Lake
View's Black Hawk Lake in the area of Town Bay. Originally constructed
in the 1930's by CCC and WPA Camp workers. the piers were restored to
their original beauty in 1999.

SAUK RAIL TRAIL
Lake View, Iowa
The Sauk Rail Trail, which winds its way for 33 scenic miles between
Lake View and Swan Lake in Carroll, Iowa, provides a picture perfect
location for numerous activities, including walking, jogging, biking,
rollerblading and snowmobiling.

LOG CABIN
Lake View, Iowa
An important landmark located near Lake View's Historical Museum is this
log cabin which dates back to 1870. The original
property of pioneer family Mr. and Mrs. w.
Belt, it was sold to the Lake View Park Board in 1926 to be used as a
memorial to pioneer families.

SPEAKER PARK
Lake View, Iowa
This is the entrance to Lake View's Speaker Park clothed in its winter
finery. A popular recreation area during the warmer part of the year,
Speaker Park had its beginning in 1925. Dr, E.E. Speaker, one of Lake
View's early physicians. was instrumental in establishing this park-
hence its name.
