Community Reformed Church is just what it's name says.  We are a Christian Congregation that is a part of the Reformed Church in America and is about community.  We care about community on several levels.  We care about the community we live in and try to show the love of Jesus to them.  We care about the community in our family of faith.  And we care about the community we share with the divine in our relationships with God.
    From our inception this is how we've understood ourselves, "As the name implies, the Community Reformed Church seeks to be a true community institution built for the community, aimed at its spiritual growth and welfare, and dedicated to the service of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We invited the people of the community to join together in forming a Christian fellowship that will
provide experiences in worship, witness, education and service. 
Together we can bring the Word of God into our lives and into the lives of those within our homes and neighborhood.  Together we can build a sense of community that will encourage us in neighborliness, helpfulness, and loyalty.  Together we can work toward giving our children the kind of church and home training that will build Christian character and foster Christian ideals."  These words were written for the service of dedication held on March 4th, 1958 before we were even an organized church and they continue to communicate much of our identity and hope for our presence in this community and this world. 
These values come through in our purpose and mission.
