Women of the ELCA

Sisters in Christ,
This is the mission of the Women of the ELCA national organization. We, all the women of St. John’s Lutheran Church, are members of this worldwide body of nearly 500,000 women who seek to make a difference in the world, in our neighborhoods, and in our congregation. Because God has made a difference in our lives, we share his message with others. If you have not had an active role in this organization in the past, this may be your time to come forward and share your experience and talents with the group. If you were active in the past, but have taken a break from the group, perhaps the time is right for you to rejoin us and rejuvenate your enthusiasm for sharing with other women. We are dedicating this year to mission work in our community and in the world. We plan to raise funds to help with disaster relief worldwide, as well as aiding Greater Love Ministries here in Madrid. It is our hope that you will join us in these efforts and join us for monthly Bible study. The officers of the Women of the ELCA at St. John’s look forward lo fellowship with you during the coming year and for many years to come.
